Instrument and vocal ranges

Useful ranges for orchestral instruments and voice. These are ranges which a Grade 8 (advanced) player should be able to access, some instruments have additional higher notes but this should be considered the general 'usable' range for the purposes of harmony and composition in music theory exams. All ranges are written at concert pitch, you should also know the transposition intervals for transposing instruments. (Taken from Trinity College London Grade 8 Theory of Music Workbook.)
